35th Anniversary re-release of the cult movie SANTA SANGRE, produced by Claudio Argento. Santa Sangre (English: Holy Blood) is a 1989 avant-garde surrealistic psychological horror film directed and written by Jodorowsky along with Claudio Argento and Roberto Leoni.

In the 1970s, his legendary films El Topo and the Holy Mountain redefined movies as both art and entertainment while changing the face of cinema forever. And in 1989, visionary writer/director Jodorowsky returned with this modern masterpiece – a timeless CLASSIC of the genre!

It is the story of a young circus performer, the crime of passion that shatters his soul, and the macabre journey back to the world of his armless mother, deaf-mute lover, and murder. The plot:

A young man finds himself locked up in a clinic for the mentally ill, from which, through a series of flashbacks, he manages to reconstruct the path that led him there. 'Santa Sangre' is a 1989 film that fascinated and baffled audiences around the world with its surreal and disturbing plot. Directed by a master of metaphysical and eccentric cinema like Jodorowsky, this film shifts the boundaries of imagination, offering an intense and unforgettable vision.
